Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi (Shahid Afridi) was born on March 1st 1980. Shahid Afridi was married to Nadia and they have two daughters namely Aqsa and Ansha.

Shahid Afridi made his debut at the age of 16 years as leg spinner replacing Mushtaq Ahmed in Octaober 1996. Shahid was gained a name of pinch hitter also opened the innings for Pakistan along with Sawed Anwar. Shahid Afridi has scored the fastest century of just 37 balls in one day internationals. Shahid Afridi was famously known as Boom Boom Afridi. Shahid Afridi holds the record of most number of sixes hit by a batsmen.

Shahid Afridi is the present ODI and T20 captain; He announced his retirement from the Test cricket during the series against England in July 2010. He has scored second highest number of runs in one over i.e., 32. Shahid Afridi made his International one day debut against Kenya on 2nd October, 1996 and his Test debut was against Australia in 22 October 1998. He is the leading performer of Pakistan as all-rounder. Afridi represented Deccan Chargers in the Indian Premier League in first two editions.
